in the sky: mars enters taurus, the sun enters gemini, uranus cazimi
in the cards: the chariot, justice, the heirophant
Every friend you’ve ever had has been a direct reflection of you. The qualities you loved about them, and the ones you couldn’t stand, were inside you first. If they weren’t, you wouldn’t have noticed them.
This is true about everyone who crosses your path. The way you experience each person is unique to you, a product of your mind. This doesn’t mean they aren’t real, but that the true nature of each person is more like a blank canvas. The paint that’s been layered on (friend, enemy, lover) came from your brush. In this way, your friends are no different than your enemies.
What if you could consciously choose what paint to use? What if instead of switching out mirrors, you could change what’s being reflected?
In this guided meditation we train your heart to melt the barriers between your friends, the people you don’t care about, and the ones you consider enemies, until you can experience them as equal.
Enjoy.
I’d love to know what this practice brought up for you. Did it trigger any reactions? Did you learn anything new about your capacity to love? Or about the relationships in your life?
